It is high time for Pakistan to catch up with contemporary standards of women technical and skill education which is essential for an ethical life as well as economic and social progress.
The objective of this project is to support the women in the creation of an economical and social boost by the education and the learning of professional skills.
3.Project Area Profile :
Project area Consist of Four Union Councils of Tehsil Balakot District Mansehra.
The project area of union council Ghari Habibullah is hilly and outreach. The Project area is earthquake affected. Most of the villages of this area have been destructed like Muzaffar abad and Balakot. The project area is consisting of communities containing 180,000 populations. People of the area are deprived from basic facilities like Shelter, safe drinking water, food, latrines and health facilities. Due to hard and outreach geography of the area the people could not get instant and quick relief. Even government institutions are failed because there are insufficient resources. Non availability of safe drinking water is a core issue. The women and children are helpless who fetch water from springs located far from their homes.
Similarly women face worst situation and many problems especially financial problems. Due to male dominant society; a woman is dependent on male. Women have no power or control on resources. Due to this project women will be able to earn for themselves in a better way after getting skill trainings, and will be self sufficient.
